Yes it was cold, dark in the winter, but so beautiful and summertime was so nice, I was lucky to work for the weather services at that time, 1982-86, I would never have been there if it wasn,t for work…and it paid for a full year travelling after that…:) Lot of scanning work to do but I think it will be worthwhile…

And it is under lot of stress now, lot of changes due to the warming climate, and our government doesn’t care…
