Thank you, it was a quick sketch, more like when I was drawing from life model…I miss that, expensive those sessions, but I am thinking about taking some this fall…

Will think about it, now I am staying far on the other end of the island, but but transit, should be around 1 hr, and as a retiree…should have more time, even if that means less $$$…ah this dreadful relation time and money…:D

I’m now retired (semi) since covid. It seems one of the things covid accomplished was to flush out many of the senior layer of creatives and technicians in the film industry.
I could still work, but there aren’t as many great projects in Toronto these days.
I don’t want to go backwards in terms of the stature of the projects I design costumes for, so I happily do other things. (still bring in some money as a consultant)

Good for you Resa, my work was not related to the arts, more like environmental and engineering, but as a drafter…the job never did pick up for me as a freelance after 2020, I might still do some formation work, not sure, I have some money to keep going but lots of unknown, still haven’t found the printed date on my body telling me better before or the expiration date, better not to know I guess….:) so may as well finally get to do things for me instead of spending time working, so I want to make place and time for drawing, painting and of course blogging…
That’s what I came to – do things for me. It’s time! xx
