Was still trying this imaginary model pose, and could not get to where I want to go, so I did use one of my ‘posing’ software, Daz Studio, taking one of the model I do have and tried to reproduce the pose, those software use limits, they can be deactivated, but if you want the model to keep a more or less realistic pose, you are better to keep them on, so since I could not come with a similar pose, I have decided to use the model pose as a reference photo, some king of turn, not a 180 degre one, but still can’t say if this will be a good or wrong one…:)

Eventually I will provide more information on these modelling and animation software, maybe I am mistaken but to me they are some kind of bridge between the drafting software, that was my bread and butter of my so called ‘career’ and the Art practice, that brought me much pleasure, but not much bread or buttter and the money to buy them…:D

Ni e painting
Thank you again, I think it is coming nice 🙂
The digital is neat, but has nothing on your actual painting. xx
As we get closer to AI becoming us, real human arts will be more important than ever.
Yes I still prefer ‘real’ painting, either oil or acrylic, but still have a hunch for oil and the smell…although not sure how it will affect my cooking in the new kitchen atelier :D. As for which is ‘ better’, should make a test and not mentionning which is which between physical work and digital, already many of my friends can’t make the difference, I know if you look you should know…, without cheating by creating a canvas look of course…:). Anyhow, I think it is better to consider it as another tool or medium available to create, like I cannot compare watercolor to oil, or pastel, working in black and white and color, quick sketch versus more elaborate work, each way has its own charm, I think….should write a post about that…and my long questionning about it. But yes sometimes digital or AI might be a bit overwhelming….as might be NS…natural stupidity…which AI left alone can quickly become, well it is the way I see it, I know, I may receive a hail of bullets from the die hard fans of it 😀
One die hard fan said – I’m not creative. Now with AI I can be creative and it’s all my product! I beg to differ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Viy3Cu3DLk&t=250s
I will go back to it and make more reading and watching on this…will keep my retired mind busy…:)
You might have to roll it back to the beginning. The guy is a professional and talks about how all AI art is derived from the online theft of all artists’ art.
There are no protections, no share given to the artists that have been stolen from. We are being walked over, used.
Yes just watch it, If I do understand well, might have to watch it again…my english is getting tired tonight :D, I think he is not against but as you said he would like to see images and production rights protected, it does seems there is no protection, as for my work, I don’t consider it AI, I choose the subject and draw almost like if I was using scratch paper, of course there is the possibility to correct, use layers, I would consider it more like developping photo in the old darkroom versus using Photoshop, which I use with my tablet, but as I wrote before you don’t get the sense of the brush on the canvas, the paint texture, the stylus does permit some adjustments, and feel the pressure and angle of the touch but you have to use the dials in photoshop to adjust, I think it will be a long debate, about rights, about the way to use it, if I could not draw on paper or paint, I don’t think the tablet and stylus by itself would permit a non artist person to achieve something…hum should definitely wrote something about the process, my answer is getting very long…:D Lot of food for thoughts on this I guess….:)
You understand correctly.
Your images are already vacuumed up by AI.
Anyone can use them and claim ownership if they create an mage using AI.
We can’t stop progress, and there are some amazing AI can do for us, like spotting wild fires before they happen.
As everything, there are people… corporations who will steal and profit from our intellectual property.
If we don’t stand for our rights, no one will. We will be walked all over. xx
So as was singing Bob Marley…stand up, stand up, fight for…
Exactly!!!
