Souvent, écrire un article est difficile, trouver un titre encore plus, donc oui c’est le tableau, ou pastel 435…les amateurs de la série culte des années soixante diront je ne suis pas un numéro, donc ok pas un numéro ce tableau, mais un tableau retravaillé quelque part en août….fini? sais pas, je devrai voir si son numéro sort à la loterie des tableaux terminés, j’invente elle n’existe pas cette loterie…:)
Writing a post is a difficult thing to me, and finding a title much more though…so yes it is number 435, ok maybe if you’re a bit old and have seen the prisoner, you would answer I am not a number…ok so it is a painting, and I think a nice one…finish? I don’t know, I will have to look if its number come out in my own lottery of finished works…of course that lottery doesn’t exist,,,so the question still stand…

Les deux Cindys, au mois d’août, comme cela fait un bout de temps, je n’ai aucune idée de ce que j’avais en tête cette journée là, probablement comme d’habitude…rien d’autre que le désir de faire un beau tableau avec bien sûr mon acharnement légendaire à pousser plus loin, reprendre et espérer que le tout soit mieux à la fin…rien de bien spécial autrement dit, la photo de cette version du 9 août….
The two Cindys, it was in August, it’s been a long time, so I can’t really say if I was in a special mood or attemping something special, revolutionning art and painting, probably just as usual, feeling the need to paint, redo a few things, hoping that the final painting will be a good one, hardly something worth writing a long essay, so here’s the pic of this August 9 th version…

Pas eu le temps de faire bien des choses depuis deux jours, donc mise-à-jour de la page en cours ( In progress works)
En vacances, mais occupé, il y a eu l’exposition, du ménage…un peu…et quelques achats, une nouvelle imprimante, multi-fonctions et une nouvelle télé, la vieille montrait des signes inquiétants de fatigue, alors beaucoup de temps passé à récupérer mes choses, commander par internet c’est bien, la livraison, c’est plus compliqué….un colis pour le câble USB, un autre pour l’imprimante, et le livreur de Purolator, qui trouvait que quelques tableaux sur mon balcon constituait un obstacle infranchissable….enfin..tout est installé, et les nouvelles télés, du moins celle que j’ai acheté est pratiquement un ordinateur, je peux voir mon site sur un grand écran de 32 pouces…et voir mes photos, maintenant je dois explorer cela un peu plus….
Busy vacation…an exhibition, a few additions, a new printer, my old one was working so badly, In fact it wasn’t working well enough to print anything unless you had to do and quality was so bad…my old tv was making waves and sound not quite normal for a tv…so I did get a new printer, nice to be able to print something that look like my paintings or photos, and a new tv, almost a computer now, can load all my photos, some videos on it, and even look at my site and pics on a big screen…nice.
Quant à l’expo, j’ai montré les photos, aussi bien montrer maintenant les départs…ou ventes….
As for the exhibit, I did show the pics, now time to show the ones that left, or in fact sold….

Et aussi, étrangement, un échange, celui qui a organisé l’expostion, possède quelques-unes de mes oeuvres dont une de mes toutes premières, une huile, il était intéressé par une autre, et j’ai toujours eu un faible pour ce vieux tableau que je lui avais vendu, alors on a procédé à un échange….
And a bit odd, the person who did organize the exhibit, is the owner of a few of my works, and he want to let go one of my older, in fact one of my first works, one I am very found and I offered him to trade this painting for another one he was interested…so for the first time I did proceed to an exchange….

Je me suis fait discret au cours des derniers jours, j’ai participé à une exposition chez un ami et voisin, une vente de ‘garage artistique’, plusieurs de mes oeuvres plus vieilles et plusieurs pièces qu’il a acheté et dont il voulait se départir pour faire de la place, et cela évidemment m’a occupé passablement au cours des derniers jours, sans compter que j’ai fait quelques achats en ligne et qu’évidemment les colis n’ont pu être livré lorsque j’étais là, donc encore plus de déplacements, tout cela résulte en un silence de quelques jours, en même temps qu’il y avait la vente d’art, il y avait aussi le festival ukrainien de Montréal, de la musique, des kiosque de bouffe, artisanat, art, et des troupes de danse, un bel événement du quartier où j’habite.
I’ve been rather quiet for the last few days…I did participate to a friend and neighbor ‘Artistic garage sale’ lot of my older works and art pieces he bought and want to depart of it, so of course it did took much of my time since last Friday, and on top of that I did some in-line shopping for many thing I had to replace, a printer, and others things, and of course I wasn’t home when they tried to deliver it, so I had to go a few times to get this stuff…very time consuming….while we were having this exhibition, there was also the Ukrainian Community who held their annual festival, lot of good food, music, traditional dance and more modern shows, you can find all kind of very nice things and ambiance during that week-end, a nice happening in our area each second week-end of September

Je continue la ‘mise-à-jour’ des photos de mes toiles en cours, une autre version d’un tableau, celui d’un modèle portant un manteau rouge et des bottes noires, traités de manière plutôt abstraite, cette version, à jour, date du mois de juillet.
Still in the process of updating photos of my in-progress works, another version of this painting that somehow got forgotten, it is still the most recent of this painting, a model wearing a red coat and black boots, painting done in a more abstract way, so this version, from last July….

Une version du tableau de Liz, ‘tombé’ entre deux chaises…ou plutôt entre deux articles…donc une version qui date de début juillet, et j’ai mis-à-jour, la page et la page en cours. donc la photo et le diaporama.
The latest version of this Liz’s painting, done early July, somehow it felt between two chairs, or I should more adequately say between two posts, so here it is, the pages related to it have also been updated, and the slideshow is also presented.
Ah oui on a eu une super lune, et moi j’ai continué à peindre ma super nébuleuse, qui a plus l’air d’un tableau nébuleusement abstrait plutôt qu’un rendu fidèle de l’image….en fait c’est plutôt que les gens de ma planète perçoivent les couleurs quelque peu différemment des terriens…:)
Oh we had a super moon, and me I did work again on my Super Nebula painting…who looks more like an abstract painting, a bit nebulous, and not much as a photographic reproduction of it..maybe it is also because the people from my home planet have a different color vision than the peoples of this planet…:)
