Entre deux séances de modèles 3D ou de dessin de modèle, soit d’après photo ou de mon imagination, il y a aussi quelques tableaux en cours, qui demandent mon attention…non je ne crois pas entendre des voix, pas encore si fou que cela, mais je dois bien y mettre un peu de temps, si je veux les terminer ces tableaux, une autre petite séance sur le tableau de la comtesse Monique, et jusqu’à date il me plait bien ce tableau…j’espère que vous serez d’accord avec moi…la version du 27 octobre, oui il y a un décalage, je prépare quelques articles en avance…pour les jours où le temps manque, aussi bien dire presque tous les jours donc…

Between 3D models try outs, sketching with my mouse, still waiting for my tablet…, and trying to catch up on everything, there is still some moments left for painting, like this one Comtess Monique, like many others paintings they are calling for my attention, no I don’t hear them…I am crazy but not that much…so a refresh version of this painting, I think it is coming along pretty nice…it was on October 27 th, yes I do have a few post half written, pictures to put in, so at least I have material to publish when time is getting too short…like almost every day…:)

Encore occupé à griboullier ou sourillier dans photoshop, cette fois d’après une photo, un croquis à main levée d’après la photo, enfin à souris levée…je pense sérieusement à me procurer une tablette, en tout cas je trouve que c’est une façon de travailler mon dessin, comme dans tout, faut en faire pour garder la main, évidemment par après j’ai mis la photo originale dans un calque sous-jacent, pour voir si j’avais bien capté la pose, et corriger un peu, mais pour le moment je l’utilise plus comme un croquis qui sera probablement un jour tableau, quant à savoir si je vais m’inspirer plus de la photo et faire un tableau plus photo réaliste ou le croquis et laisser plus grande place à l’interprétation, ou les deux, reste un débat ouvert pour le moment….

A bit more doodling with the mouse and photoshop, this time I did a sketch, very sketchy…of a model, one I did a pastel before, not this pose but maybe it could be a basis for a painting, and in the same time I did found back the joy of drawing, trying to catch the pose, first ‘à la main levée’ freehand, actuallly mouse free….and I did put the picture in the background, just to see if I was off…not too bad. but of course drawing with a mouse and constantly changing the setting in photoshop is a bit hindering the pleasure to draw, but I like it so far, still not quite decided if it will be more or less realistic, maybe I should do a few and maybe two versions, one more realistic, the other wilder, and more like sketches…the debate is still open…

Et finalement je me suis décidé, pas au sujet du tableau, mais j’ai acheté une tablette graphique…que maintenant j’attends impatiemment….:)

And finally I did came to a decision, not about this future painting, more about buying a graphic tablet, and now I am waiting for the delivery….very impatiently…:)

J’essaie encore de capter l’expression de son visage, pas encore à mon goût mais cela s’en vient, sauf qu’après un certain temps la peinture devient difficile à travailler, je vais probablement laisser reposer quelque peu ce tableau, ce sera donc pour une prochaine fois…

Le même modèle présenté voilà quelques jours dans un rendu de logiciel 3D, mais incorporé dans un tableau, déjà commencé depuis quelques mois d’ailleurs ce tableau, cette version date du début octobre…

The same model I’ve shown a few days ago from a rendering done in a 3D software, but this time in a painting, not the same pose, and the paintings is a few months old and not finished yet, so here’s the latest version, from early October…

Que je n’avais travaillé ce tableau de Liz Hurley, et il me semblait, comme cela m’arrives souvent que quelque chose n’allait pas, je n’étais pas satisfait de son visage, pas sûr que j’aie amélioré la situation, enfin on verra bien plus tard, en attendant la version d’aujourd’hui, 12 octobre….

It seems to me it’s been a long time I did not reworked this painting, Liz Hurley, and as it does often happen, something was bothering me, her face mainly, so I did set to try to get it right, right how, not easy, we’ll see later…

Parfois avec mes tableaux de Liz, je me sens comme un jeune ado, amoureux d’elle, probablement pour cela que je la peins souvent et que je suis rarement tout-à-fait heureux de la manière que je rends son visage, ou tout simplement je ne suis pas un portraitiste…

Sometimes, when painting Liz, and I did it a few times, I do feel like a young adult, in love with his beloved actress and model, maybe that why, seems to me I can’t never paint her really to my satisfaction, or maybe, I am just not a portrait artist…

Non pas réellement une histoire autour d’une auto, mais ce tableau montre un modèle sortant d’une voiture…fallait bien que je trouve un fil, même mince, pour commencer cet article….donc la dernière version, qui date un peu mais pas beaucoup…le 22 septembre.

No, not really a post about a car or a car story, it was just a way to start this post, but it is more about a model, getting out of a car, the latest version, a bit late, this was taken on September 22 nd, not very long ago…

Même si le diaporama est bien peu garni, aussi bien le mettre, et la photo de la conductrice de char…expression québécoise pour auto…:), non ce n’est Ben Hur….
Even if the slideshow is very slim at this point, may as well show it, and of course this model, getting of a car.

Souvent, écrire un article est difficile, trouver un titre encore plus, donc oui c’est le tableau, ou pastel 435…les amateurs de la série culte des années soixante diront je ne suis pas un numéro, donc ok pas un numéro ce tableau, mais un tableau retravaillé quelque part en août….fini? sais pas, je devrai voir si son numéro sort à la loterie des tableaux terminés, j’invente elle n’existe pas cette loterie…:)

Writing a post is a difficult thing to me, and finding a title much more though…so yes it is number 435, ok maybe if you’re a bit old and have seen the prisoner, you would answer I am not a number…ok so it is a painting, and I think a nice one…finish? I don’t know, I will have to look if its number come out in my own lottery of finished works…of course that lottery doesn’t exist,,,so the question still stand…

415-52 Cindy Crawford double… Acrylique, 20×30 po, 50×70 cm 2014-08-09

Les deux Cindys, au mois d’août, comme cela fait un bout de temps, je n’ai aucune idée de ce que j’avais en tête cette journée là, probablement comme d’habitude…rien d’autre que le désir de faire un beau tableau avec bien sûr mon acharnement légendaire à pousser plus loin, reprendre et espérer que le tout soit mieux à la fin…rien de bien spécial autrement dit, la photo de cette version du 9 août….

The two Cindys, it was in August, it’s been a long time, so I can’t really say if I was in a special mood or attemping something special, revolutionning art and painting, probably just as usual, feeling the need to paint, redo a few things, hoping that the final painting will be a good one, hardly something worth writing a long essay, so here’s the pic of this August 9 th version…

Encore du retard à combler, des photos prises le 24 août, une nouvelle session de ce modèle au pastel, parfois on fait marche arrière, donc en attendant elle perd la face…elle la retrouvera….

Still much backlog to update, this one was done August 24, this model that did start out as a nebula, that day it was a step back and she did lose her face…it will be back….
