Oui cela est encore loin, mais Noël s’en vient….:) donc une esquisse d’une modèle qui doit aimer cette période, ou du moins le photographe ou le client qui avait commandé la photo qui a servi à cette esquisse, oui un peu modifié, par la magie des calques ouverts, fermés ou tramés….vous commencez à connaître le truc je crois…:)
yes, we don’ think about it yet, but Christmas is coming, months away, true, but it is approaching, so why not refreshing this sketch of a model wearing a Santa Claus coat…but not a right type of boots for roof climbing…of course the sketch has been altered by use of hidden, or a selection of layers that are on or tramed, I think by now you are getting used to this type of work from me…:)

Plusieurs calques dans cette esquisse, donc plusieurs versions possibles, celle ci fait années 60 ou 70….je vais essayer d’en faire plus, il y a tant de possibilités…
Many layers in this sketch, so many more versions are possible, this one has maybe a 60 or 70s style…I will try to make a few others, there is so many possible outcomes….
A force de faire des versions avec différents calques ouverts ou fermés, je finis par me retrouver avec plein de fichiers qui restent à publier, et les articles ne suivent pas, donc cette fois ci je mettrai 3 versions du même fichier, selon les agencements et réglages, le resultat pourrait être bien différent…
With all those versions, with some layers on or off, I do end up with those files piling up in a folder waiting accompagnying posts, and I am producing them much faster than I do posting, so this time, 3 versions, could post more and with different results depending on setup of layers and modfied parameters…
Ce n’est pas ce qui caractérise la majorité de ce que je produis, mais parfois oui un paysage, ici entièrement digital, comme la plupart de mes récentes productions d’ailleurs, l’atelier attend toujours d’être finalisé…en septembre…probablement…
It is not what would caracterize the main part of my production, but once in a while, from time to time, don’t know if is does translate literately, I like to do a landscape, entirely digital this one, like all of my recent production, the Atelier is still waiting to be reinstalled…in September, probably…

Michel Louvain, un chanteur québécois d’une autre époque, chantait cela…non je ne chanterai pas, mais la dernière version de cette esquisse, toujours en utilisant des calques, donne un rendu violet, ou mauve, ou les deux, pourtant en tant qu’artiste je devrais pouvoir dire la vraie couleur, mais pas sûr…:)
There was a quebecois singer, long time ago who did sing ‘La dame en bleue’, translate as ‘the dame in blue’…in my case, playing again with layers, this version became the lady in violet or mauve, or somewhere between both, I guess as a painter I should be able to say which color it is, but not quite sure…anyhow, I think both are kind of the same…more red, or blue…so this is your choice or interpretation.
Il pourrait sembler que ce soit le cas, ou ce n’est peut-être que le résultat de ma nouvelle obsession avec la création de calques, la probabilité est très grande que ce soit le cas ici, en attendant, on a toujours un fond qui reste, pas vraiment un paysage, mais un arrière plan, reste seulement à faire apparaître les avant- plan, eh oui je viens de révéler qu’il y en a plus d’un…:)
It does look like it might be the case, or maybe this is just another result of my recently developped obsession with layers and effects, If I had some money to put on this, I would bet on the latter choice…so in the meantime, not really a landscape, more like a somewhat undefined environment for some actors, or foreground objects…hum I guess I just revealed there is more than one…:)
J’ai fait preuve de modération ici…dans l’utilisation des calques, le reste, poliment ce n’est pas pour diffusion publique…donc oui nouvelle version de cette esquisse, je m’en suis tenu à trois calques, du moins pour le moment…:) Donc le fond, une version avec modèle version plus réaliste et enfin une qui laisse plus place à l’interprétation et/ou l’imagination, ce calque provenant du découpage de la forme du modèle et retravaillé en silhouette. Les trois calques dans l’ordre.
This time I went with moderation…in the use of layers, for other type of moderation, well this is not for public diffusion, so I won’t write about it….so yes a new version of this sketch, only three layers so far, at least for now….one as background, could evolve in a landscape, another with a more realistic drawing and finally one made with the model shape cutout, on which I did some edition, giving it a more abstract feeling leaving more place to the imagination or to interpretation.
Toujours pas mal dans l’exploration, manque de contraste, mais cela peut s’arranger facilement mais pas ce soir….j’ai faim, dois manger un peu, regarder une étape de la Vuelta, suis presque à jour et quelque part dormir un peu, la chatte elle me réveillera à 5 hrs AM, fidèle à son habitude…
Still quite a bit into an exploratory mode, so a modified version, another, lack of contrast, but this can be fix quite easily, but not tonight, must eat something, finish watching la Vuelta, I am late on stages, and sleep I guess….eventually…
J’admets que je n’y ai pas apporté beaucoup d’attention, plus occupé par mes autres où l’on peut commander des produits faits à partir de mes images, disons que la part de l’artiste est plutôt faible, on compte plutôt sur le volume, par contre la boutique sur ce site et sur Weebly sont du types où les images sont disponibles pour téléchargement, moyennant un prix relativement faible, du moins je le crois, mais éventuellement je les réviserai…selon les résultats des essais…j’espère que ce sera plus une réussite que le vaisseau spatial de Boeing qui reviendra à vide, les astronautes eux utiliseront le prochain vol de Space X, enfin revenons à ma boutique, les images actuellement disponibles…
I must admit, I did not put all the efforts on this site online shop, a few images are available for download, at a small cost, for your personnal use, not for a commercial one, I did a bit of work on my other shops, the ones that you do order finished products using my images, of course the artist’s part is quite small…I guess we muss rely on a large number of orders.. so far it is none or little, so I guess it is a long term affair…of hope…:D As for the cost, I will revise them after running some tests, hopefully the test will have better results than Boeing space shutttle…that will come back empty…for the security of the astronauts, who will have to wait for the next Space X mission…but back to my own shop, and the images available now for download
