un autre sketch qui selon le moment va de ‘WOW’ à hummm….des hauts et des bas, cela fait partie du ‘métier’…:)

Je me suis remis sur cette esquisse en utilisant Corel, et cela n’allait pas du tout…donc au bout de 15 minutes, je me suis dit allons pour une valeur sûre Photoshop, et je pense que c’est mieux, c’était un soir Photoshop, pas Corel…même si pour le moment c’est encore bien flou, indéfini…
I did get back last night to that sketch, starting with Corel, and somehow I got a bit upset, it seems it did not work fine for me last night, switch back to Photoshop, and then it went smoothier…but it is still kind of blur and undefined…
aussi bien montrer la première version de la soirée, et cela n’allait nul part, selon moi…ou j’ai perdu patience un peu trop rapidement, enfin lorsque le temps manque, on est moins enclin à sortir de sa zone de confort…
May as well show the short live first version in Corel, maybe it wasn’t that bad, and I would have been able to do something, but when time is scarce and youre a bit tired, you don’t feel like getting out of your comfort zone I guess…so it was a photoshop night…
And the whole gallery, I guess I could start from any of them and do something a bit different…Et la galerie complète, chaque illustration pourrait donner suite à une version particulière…
Hier, en faisant le ménage, de l’ordi, plus intéressant que celui de l’appart, je suis tombé sur ce sketch, commencé en février et laissé de côté…donc tout en peignant cet autre modèle au chapeau de fourrure, je venais à l’ordi dessiner d’autres versions…
yesterday while I was doing some cleaning, in the computer, less discouraging than cleaning the apartment, I stumble upon this sketch started in february, and kind of forgotten after..so taking breaks from my painting session of this fur hatted model, I did a few more versions of this forgotten one…

Sometimes my sketches undergo the same changes than when I am painting, sometimes good, sometimes not so good, I found it lost something compared to the previous version, presented here after..
Parfois, mes sketchs comme mes tableaux ne sont pas en progression constante, parfois ils reculent ou comme pour celui, je reste avec l’impression d’avoir perdu quelque chose, ou qu’il y a quelque chose de travers…la version précédente…

Moins excitante la nouvelle version, et quelque chose dans les proportions et la pose du modèle, bien sûr vous ne pouvez juger, je n’ai pas mis la photo du modèle alors la voilà..
It does seems less lively and still something seems wrong to me with the pose, of course I am looking at this model’s picture, I should post it so you can look too…
And then I saw that her body wasn’t crouching like it should, and did in the previous version..so I had to correct that, but this it for now…I wan’t to keep some stuff ahead, and if you’re like me, most of the time I find difficult reading and looking at long posts…:)
Et tout d’un coup, le problème m’est bien apparu, l’angle du corps qui était pas mal avant, n’était plus bon, sans compter les proportions pas trop bien réussi..donc corriger ou laisser là…j’ai une tète de cochon…j’abandonne rarement, presque jamais…mais ce sera pour un prochain article, question de garder du matériel, et aussi, je ne sais pas si vous êtes comme moi, mais je lis ou regarde de manière attentionée, bien rarement les longs articles…:)

Another version ot this sketch, reworked in Corel Painter, wasn’t happy with it, came back to Photoshop to try to fix it
And then, the day after I came back to work it with Corel, giving it another shot, and it work better, I guess I am getting used to the difference in these two softwares, their tools reacts differently so it is a bit of adjustment, but so far, except for this one time, I like them both….so I guess I will have to learn when to use one or the other or both…
Et puis, comme j’ai une tête de cochon…je ne lâche pas facilement prise…je suis revenu à Corel pour voir si je pouvais faire mieux, et cela a bien été, les deux logiciels ne réagissent pas de la même manière à ce que fais, donc c’est une question de connaître les forces et moins bonnes choses de chaque, et d’appendre à les utiliser efficacement tous les deux…
Retravaillé l’esquisse d’hier, en Corel, et ça allait mieux, faut croire que certains jours on est moins aptes…et j’en ai travaillé une autre, donc laquelle montrer, pour diversifier aussi bien montrer l’autre…
I did rework the previous sketch, with Corel, I guess to see if it would go better, and it did, I guess I have to get use to tools that are working differently, either in shapes, manner and sensitivity…and I worked on another one, so which one should I show, I will go for the one I haven’t showed yesterday..
And the other versions, as for the one I also reworked, tomorrow I guess, besides I will probably come back late tonight, and won’t have time to prepare anything…
Et les versions précédentes, et pour celle d’hier, je la présenterai probablement demain, de plus je ne crois pas entrer tôt à la maison ce soir..donc si je veux avoir quelque chose de prêt à montrer demain….
Une esquisse retravaillée, d’abord avec Corel Painter, mais comme avec un tableau, à l.ordi aussi, il semble que parfois les choses ne vont pas toutes seules, et c’est plus ardu, comme hier soir, faut dire que je m’y suis mis tard, fallait que je fasse plein de choses avant, et comme c’est souvent le cas, les choses plaisantes, doivent être mises de côté…
Another reworked sketch, but somehow it did not went as smoothly as it is often the case working on the computer, more like some sessions painting, it was difficult, maybe simply tired, I started late, after doing many things that had to be done, and as it is often the case, fun things have to take a back seat…
