Manque de régularité dans mes publications, la production elle l’est plus, c’est le département des publications qui est lent…vais essayer d’y remédier, en attendant, un oubli, une esquisse qui s’était glissée dans les fichiers à publier…
A definite lact of regularity in posting, at least the art making is not so bad, I mean more disciplined…so I guess I should fire the guy who is in charge of publication, of course it is the same one that do the art, so…will just try to be more disciplined…:) So here’s one that has kind of slept by…
Une version éthérée du modèle, une autre version plus définie existe, ce sera pour une autre fois, vais me garder du matériel en banque…pour les moments creux de bloguage…:)
This time, there is a model, a version less defined than the original, which is hidden in an ‘off layer’, I may present it in another post, it is in my ‘image bank’, where I can look for material when blogging time is getting short….:)
Une version du fond seulement de cette esquisse, poétiquement appelée E-0006, de la musique aux oreilles à lire ce nom, j’en suis convaincu, ha je pourrais peut-être laisser la possibilité aux amateurs de le nommer, un nouveau concept, achetez une version et nommer là, hum je sens un coup fumant en marketing…:D. Donc est-ce un tableau abstrait ou un tableau figuratif en gestation, ou les deux. Je me répète, la magie, enfin non rien de magique là-dedans, la technique des calques Photoshop…s’il y a de la magie, je présume qu’elle pourrait être dans la manipulation du stylet de la tablette et de la main, et du reste derrière l’outil…
This is my sketch, named E-0006, I am sure that the poetic sense of this title is mesmorazing….yes I don’t give much attention to the title of my works, they are just there to look at, you can dive a title yourself, hum this could be a nice selling thing, you name it…well for now is it just an abstract digital painting, or a figurative one in the making process, or maybe both, there may even be more of them eventually…ah the magic, in fact no magic here, just the technicalities of playing with layers in Photoshop, if there is magic it is in the handling of the stylus I guess…
Dissocier ou rendre une esquisse sur plusieurs calques afin de faciliter le travail, rend parfois le travail un peu abstrait, comme ici avec le fond isolé et édité….
To separate and put things on different layers, hopefully to help working later, can lead to something a bit abstract, like here with the background edited and isolated…

Laisser quelques calques intermédiaires ouverts, fait passer le tout d’abstrait à une abstraction presque lugubre, avec une partie du modèle seulement affichée, et en plus en parties dissociées…:)
When you leave a few intermediary layers on, it is still abstract but with an almost creepy look with parts of the model showing through, in dissociated parts…creepy..:)

J’avoue qu’avec l’ensemble des calques affichés, c’est plus rassurant, bien sûr cette fois ci j’ai pensé à copier le corps du modèle avant d’éditer les fonds….on apprend…:D
With all layers on and everything still in one piece, this time I thought about making the copies I did need on different layers before getting too much involved in editing, the result so far is more reassuring to me…:D
Hum ce serait bien difficile avec une toile, peu de medium ont la capacité de permettre de palier à un manque de planification….vous me voyez probablement venir, une autre esquisse à la tablette, je ne suggérerais pas de commencer sans avoir l’idée de la composition de l’oeuvre, mais lorsqu’on se laisse aller à gribouiller, on ne pense pas à cela…un peu comme on griffonne dans la marge d’une feuille, comme par exemple dans certains cours où mon attention allait ailleurs à ce que le professeur essayait de nous enseigner..:D
That would be almost impossible to correct while painting, watercoloring or working with pastel…You probably guess, here he comes with the joy of working with a tablet…:) I would not suggested to start something without some planning, with paints I will do that, but sketching on a tablet is more like doodling in a paper sheet margin listening to something that may be or limited interest..:D

Et celle retravaillée en étirant le ‘papier’ ou plus correctement les limites de l’image, certains avantages de ce bel outil que je redécouvre, quoique parfois la multitude de fonctions et d’outils me rend un peu perdu et parfois ralentit l’élan, finalement j’utilise bien peu toutes ces possibilités, peut-être qu’un tablette plus évoluée permettant l’utilisation plus naturelle du stylet, un peu comme un véritable pinceau serait bien intéressant, celle que j’ai permet de simuler la pose d’un pinceau, mais il manque des subtilités ou je ne les ai pas découvertes encore, possible….faudrait que je lise un peu plus sur ces outils…:)
And the one reworked, stretching the paper or more correctly the virtual canvas size, difficult to do with a real canvas…one of the advantage or interest of using this numeric tool, my tablet will allow to somewhat mimic the real pose of a brush, but does lack some feeling and possibilities to follow my hand rotation and pressure, there is some but probably more advance tablet would permit that, besides there is so many functions and tools in Photoshop, difficult to know them all, finally I realize I am using few of them and there always the need to change parameters in dialog boxes that will break the drawing flow, but it is quite flexible, for me I am using a few, probably just an very small part of what is possible, have to study it more, and not while doodling in the margins, well there is no place to doodle in this case, need some paper sheet besides..:D
Mais je dois admettre dessiner sans modèle, un peu rouillé encore, mais bien plaisant tout de même…But I must admit, drawing without a photo or model, I think I am not quite back to it, difficult but fun…
Deux esquisses, prêtes depuis plusieurs jours à être présentées, et qui sont tombées dans l’oubli, le mien, donc voilà la situation corrigée, un jour je reprendrai le cours normal de publication…un jour…
Two sketches that were ready to be posted, and they kind of felt into oblivion, a temporary one, due to me being either too busy or distracted or both…one day my posting schedule will be back on track, one day…

Retravaillé l’esquisse d’hier, en Corel, et ça allait mieux, faut croire que certains jours on est moins aptes…et j’en ai travaillé une autre, donc laquelle montrer, pour diversifier aussi bien montrer l’autre…
I did rework the previous sketch, with Corel, I guess to see if it would go better, and it did, I guess I have to get use to tools that are working differently, either in shapes, manner and sensitivity…and I worked on another one, so which one should I show, I will go for the one I haven’t showed yesterday..
And the other versions, as for the one I also reworked, tomorrow I guess, besides I will probably come back late tonight, and won’t have time to prepare anything…
Et les versions précédentes, et pour celle d’hier, je la présenterai probablement demain, de plus je ne crois pas entrer tôt à la maison ce soir..donc si je veux avoir quelque chose de prêt à montrer demain….
