Oui plusieurs photos de toiles qui étaient restées non traitées, donc du rattrapage, peut-être que cela m’incitera, en voyant mes tableaux, à préparer ou trouver une place dans l’appartement pour un atelier et les terminer ces tableaux…un jour….:)
Yes, there is a lot of photos taken of my unfinished paintings, so a bit of back log clearing to do, and besides, working on these might give me the urge to find room in the apartment to install my atelier and finish these paintings…one day I will…:)
Auparavant il y avait tellement de chose, lorsqu’elle portait des bas ‘filets’ textures avec son long manteau qui tombait le long de la chaise, je trouvais que c’était bien trop chargé avant et là je trouvais que c’était devenu trop ‘calme’, donc un peu de fond abstrait, de la couleur, des formes, qu’est-ce que ce sera ?…je n’en ai pas trop l’idée pour le moment, je verrai au fil des coups de pinceaux…:)
Before, when she had her fish stockings and long coat, which was dropping along the chair, there was a lot of texture, even to the point of cluttering the view, now I found it to be too clean, so I am bringing back some abstract textures, colors and I don’t really know what, I guess I will have to see how it goes and flows…:)
Non je ne me demande pas si le tableau est terminé ou non, il reste encore un peu de travail, pas beaucoup mais….non la question provient de commentaires laissés sur mon autre site, élogieux du tableau…ouf mais signalant qu’apparemment ce n’est pas une authentique photo de Liz…le visage aurait été photoshopé ou placé sur celui d’une modèle fétiche ou porno….enfin finalement peu importe, le tableau lui m’importe et il est bien de moi…:), quant à la photo sais pas, peut-être que je devrais changer le titre du tableau ou l’appeler tout simplement 425…..:), faut dire que ce que je dessine ou peins ne porte pas de message…je laisse cela à ceux qui écrivent, moi j’aime dessiner les femmes et les vêtements, incluant les bottes…:D rien de plus…
No I am not asking myself if it is completed, it is not quite there yet, not far but not finished….No the maybe came from comments made on my other site, it seems that this picture is only featuring the face of Liz which would have been pasted using photoshop on a model specialised in fetich or porno images and video…at least the painting is not a fake, I am painting it as for the photo I don’t know the name of the model, so it is probably not Liz, maybe I will simply title the painting 425….I am not good anyway at finding title, I am more intereted at painting it than finding a title or meaning…I am not good at conveying a message in paints or drawing, I guess I am just someone who love drawing and painting women, their clothes and boots of course…:) nothing more….

As for manipulations it does seems now that even video can be fake, using technology not so difficult to use, either by replacing someone by somebody else, modifying the voice and have them saying whatever we want…a bit scary….
Quant aux manipulations de photo, c’est relativement simple à faire, maintenant il semble que même des vidéos peuvent être refaits en remplaçant quelqu’un par un acteur ou actrice, modifier la voix et faire dire à cette personne ce que l’on veut bien lui faire dire, un peu effrayant….
Le retour à la normale, enfin la peinture, le dessin, continue, lentement, sûrement ? pas encore là…mais plus actif tout-de-même. Le tableau de Liz, sur le chevalet depuis des mois, était dû pour une couche fraîche de peinture, voilà….
Getting back slowly, very slowly and sparsely to normal, at least I am doing a bit more drawing and painting, this Liz painting’s have been on the easel for the last few months, waiting for fresh paint, so I did put some yesterday…..

Liz, il y a bien longtemps…et toujours aussi difficile ces jours-ci, semaines-ci je devrais dire de combattre la procrastination…au moins depuis quelques jours je remporte de petites victoires, sous forme de 30 minutes arrachées aux tâches quotidiennes et accaparantes…
It’s been a long time, Liz is back, and it is as much difficult for me these days, weeks I should say to get going, and finding time for painting, I guess sometimes I could say it is more procrastination than lack of time, but these days I did won a few small battles..in terms of short sessions, 30 minutes, taken from a way too much hectic schedule, I guess the important thing is to continue to do something, even if it is very little…

Parfois j’ai l’impression de tomber en amour avec mes modèles ou le tableau…mais soyez sans crainte, je ne pousse pas la folie jusqu’à aller au resto en tête-en-tête avec ma toile de Liz, là j’aurais vraiment l’air fou , du moins plus qu’à l’accoutumée….on fait livrer du resto plutôt…et je la peins….:)
Sometimes, I almost felt like I am in love with my models, or my canvas of her…but of course I would not go to a restaurant having diner with a canvas….that would be very silly of me, I am not that crazy….instead I have the supper delivered at my place…and I keep painting her…

Un autre virus? je pense que oui…mais celui-là me semble logé bien profondément encore une fois, sauf qu’il y a une petite différence, il semble s’attaquer surtout et avant tout à mon cerveau…..les symptômes, sont peu nombreux mais très apparents… et je crois savoir son nom, c’est le Liz,encore, les symptômes est que le sujet atteint, moi en l’occurrence, ne peut se résigner à passer à autre chose que de peindre la belle Liz dans tous ces atours, dont bien sûr ses jolies cuissardes jusqu’à atteindre la perfection, normalement je sais qu’on ne peut l’atteindre cette perfection, mais je pense que ce virus attaque justement cette capacité du cerveau à reconnaître ce fait…donc une autre version…
I think I got attacked by another virus, and this time it is a very virulent one, that went deeply into the system, the only particularity of this one, is that it is does attack the brain not of the computer, but the user’s brain, in this case, mine.
Symptoms? not many but very persistant, like to urge to attein perfection and keep painting, until you do get to the point where you say…it is just perfect. The name of this virus you may ask? it is known as Liz,encore, or another version is Liz,boots,again.again. As for the symptoms, very persistent, but not too detrimental, just the urge to push her painting to a point where no painter as gone….perfection. Usually your brain, prevent you to pursue this impossible goal, but it seems that the virus is disabling this defence…..so maybe I will just put another version of this painting…and wait to see how mad my brain goes….

Bien sûr, aussi bien présenter le diaporama, et même une photo de la version de ce virus…c’est plutôt rare qu’on peut montrer une photographie d’un virus d’ordi ou de peintre fou, mais dans ce cas-ci voici celle que j’ai trouvé…

Je crois qu’il existe plusieurs programmes antivirus qui pourraient éliminer ou prévenir de futures infections, ou encore un bon pare-feu ferait le travail, mais pour le moment je préfère le laisser agir ce virus….
Of course I could probably set up some kind of antivirus program or firewall to stop this virus, but somehow, I prefer to stay infected….:)
Oui je sais, on en est à plus de 7 mois de cette fête, et l’été est même pas encore là, donc tranquillise toi….mais c’est tout-de-même Noël pour moi aujourd’hui, mon numériseur est arrivé, et le vieux monsieur est content….

Un coup installé je l’ai essayé avec trois photo ordinaire, une diapo, un négatif et une photo papier, des couchers de soleil, ou ciels nuageux, j’ai pris ce que j’ai pu trouver rapidement, dont une photo prise à Mould Bay, genre d’endroit où on subit un blizzard le 11 juilllet…
Once installed I did test it, three test, slide, negative and paper photo, nothing fancy, took what I did found quickly, all are kind of cloudy, damp, or sunset, one is from Mould Bay, kind of place north of Beaufort sea where you can get a blizzard on July 11…
Mais même si c’est fête…j’ai travaillé…Liz, et son visage s’en vient bien, cela aussi j’en suis bien content…
But even if this is holiday time…I did work, on this painting of Liz Hurley and I think her face is coming along pretty nice, I am also glad about that…
