Encore ce pastel qui n’en finit plus…enfin il arrive à la fin, pas tout-à fait la dernière version, travaillé hier mais je ne l’ai pas photographié, aussi j’expérimente de nouveax outils dans Corel Painter, mais encore là, je n’ai rien à présenter, cela viendra…en attendant une autre version du pastel de Carla, version déjà périmée…la prochaine devrait être la finale..
Still working on this unending, lasting, pastel, but it is coming to an end, but not quite now, actually this version is already reworked, and I did some more experiment with other settings in Corel Painter, but again I felt it wasn’t worthwhile to be presented, more is coming on this, so in the meantime, an already obsolete version of this pastel

Parfois, je ne sais trop pourquoi, ou comment, mais mes pastels, enfin plutôt le papier me donne du fil à retordre…en fait ici je pense que c’est ma mauvaise habitude, de garder de vieux bouts de pastel, fusain, conté, et autres matériaux de diverses qualités, et certains je crois marquent le papier et sont difficiles à corriger et couvrir, et là j’ai perdu patience avec ce pastel et j’y ai mis des touches de gouache afin de couvrir ces zones problématiques, surtout lorsqu’elles sont dans le visage…donc la suite de ce pastel, enfin pastel et gouache…
Sometimes, and I am not sure exactly why or how, I have a hint, probably my bad habit of keeping together all kinds of dry drawing materials, pastels, good and cheap, conté, hard pastel, charcoal and almost everything kind of chalk I bought over the years…and has it is happening here, the paper get smeared and almost impossible to correct or cover, and like on this pastel these marks are on her face….so I got tired of trying to fix it and added some gouache…so the latest version of this pastel, actually now pastel and gouache…

Oui je sais cela paraît bien mal de dire cela, en fait je devrais plutôt écrire j’haïs lorsque je ne parviens pas à reproduire le sourire d’un modèle comme celui de Carla….donc ce pastel qui était pratiquement terminé, l’est beaucoup moins maintenant…..:(
It does look bad writing this, I shall rather write I hate smiling model, especially when I can’t get it right on a pastel, besides that pastel was almost finished, could have sign it, no…had to try to catch her smile, not I am not smiling…well will get it right sometimes, but not today…:(

And of course I did not stop at trying to fix the smile, but It will be better when I am done with it…I hope. Her picture and her nice smiling face…
Et évidemment je ne me suis pas arrêté au sourire, j’ai débordé un peu partout, donc éventuellement ce sera un beau pastel, mais pas aujourd’hui…

Du moins je pense que c’est le cas, je ne crois pas que je vais y retoucher, mais cela on le saura la prochaine fois, ou lorsque je présenterai le petit montage vidéo…
At least that what I think tonight, I don’t think I will rework this one, unless of course I do change my mind, then you will find out either it is a new version, or the little montage I do when one is finished…I am running late on this too…

Il avance, ce soir je l’ai retravaillé quelque peu, en fait peu de temps mais beaucoup de coup de pastel, mais la photo est celle d’hier, la suite plus tard, donc un pastel de Carla, qui approche de la fin ou s’en éloigne un peu, je suis toujours un peu beaucoup obstiné lorsque vient le temps de la touche finale…
Yes, it is almost there, or maybe it is moving a bit too far, like tonight, short time on it but many pastel strokes, looser strokes, can be good or sometimes a bit too much on the loose, but will have to wait to see the pic, tonight is last night one, a pastel, of Carla, as for the final touch, often I do become a bit obsessive about getting it right for me, and it goes and goes, will see…

Il semble que j’avais oublié, ou du moins laissé de côté cette dernière version, qui date de quelques jours, à ce stade-ci où j’en suis avec ce pastel, la question de savoir s’il est terminé ou non est difficile à répondre, une question d’interprétation, la mienne, et ce matin je ne suis pas encore assez réveillé pour prendre une décision…s’il y a une autre version, vous connaîtrez la réponse, voici où il en est ce pastel.

Il me semble qu’Il y a une éternité que je n’ai pas touché à mes pinceaux ou mes pastels…voilà c’est fait je les ai touchés….mes pastels, qui eux ont touché Carla….qui elle se retrouve maintenant dans cet article…donc une nouvelle version de ce pastel…
