Un peu plus grand, tourner…A bit larger, rotate…
Les esquisses à l’ordi permettent certaines choses qu’il serait bien difficile à faire en tableau, comme par exemple agrandir la toile…la tourner…évidemment si on planifie son travail au départ, on a pas à le faire…:)
Sketching with the computer has some advantage we don’t have when working on canvas, like stretching a bit more to the left, rotating the whole thing, remodelling in a few strokes…

Le secteur de Montréal où j’habite, est aussi un secteur de la ville où l’on retrouve une importante communauté ukrainienne, donc on ne s’étonne pas d’y trouver une église de style orthodoxe….celle-ci est tout près de chez moi..les gens du coin la reconnaîtront immédiatement…
The area of Montreal I am living has a rather important Ukrainian community, so it is not surprising to walk around here and see those beautiful church, orthodox style…this one is very near where I live…people who know the area, will easily recognize it.

Cette fois-ci, je l’ai édité en Corel Painter, et je trouve que son visage est mieux défini…j’aime le côté flou de ces esquisses, mais j’aimerais mieux contrôler la ‘précision’ du dessin dans ce médium…cela viendra.
This time I did the work in Corel Painter, seems to me her face does look better, more define, I do like the sketchy side of this medium, but I like to know that eventually I may choose to do something more defined, it is getting there…slowly.

Une autre version d’une illustration existante, en allant de photoshop à Corel et de retour à Photoshop, certains outils d’un et l’autre me semblent plus facile à utiliser, ce serait bien de les avoir dans un logiciel, ou tout simplement un manque d’approfondissement du logiciel..enfin.
Another version of an existing sketch, moving from corel to Photoshop and back to Corel,, seems to me, some thing are easier to do in one or the other, probably I could achieve it in one, it is a matter of knowing how and learn more I guess, in the meantime, I feel more in control of it, but still need to work on it…

Lors de mes marches presque quotidiennes au retour du boulot, je dois emprunter un viaduc qui enjambe une autoroute, et les avions qui vont atterrir pas très loin de là, semblent suivre la même direction que cette autoroute, et parfois je réussis à en capter un….
Each day or almost, I do walk home from work and depending of the traject I do choose I have to pass on an overpass crossing a major highway, seems also that the planes, enroute to a nearby airport follow the same direction as this highway, and sometimes I am lucky enough to get a fairly good shot….

Pas une esquisse à l’ordinateur aujourd’hui, plutôt un ‘vrai’ tableau, un en cours, au ‘repos’ depuis plusieurs mois, donc retravaillé hier, peu de temps mais beaucoup d’énergie….j’espère qu’on peut le percevoir….
No computer sketching last night, more like the ‘real’ thing, a painting left aside for a few months now, not much work timewise…but seems to me I did put a lot of energy into it, hope it shows…

Sunset and building…Bâtiment au coucher du soleil..
Une photo, préparé un peu en vitesse, le temps passe trop vite…air connu…un bâtiment sous la lumière du soleil couchant, toujours passablement occupé avec plein de choses, mais au moins trouvé le moyen de télécharger une photo…
Still end up late and thinking, well maybe I should put up something on line, so this building, bathed in a sunset light will do for today, again the day went by so fast, and as usual still have so much I would like to do…will get to it some day…
