En me remettant dans mes fichiers, je me rends compte que j’avais une liste de tableaux et d’esquisses à mettre à jour dans mes sites….donc je m’y mets de ce pas, enfin frappes de clavier….un tableau présentant une des robes de Resa, une bonne amie blogueuse, même si parfois je me tais un peu trop longtemps

Une autre esquisse à l’ordinateur, en fait je l’avais commencé en 2021….semble que je ne l’avais jamais publiée, peut-être que je devrais les publier au fur et à mesure, comme cela elles ne dormiront pas dans mon ordi, un début, même pas 15 minutes de dessin, probablement moins, peut-être pas comme Warhol disait, à chacun son 15 minutes de gloire, vais me contenter d’un 15 minutes de dessin, quant à la gloire, faut pas trop y penser….et si je les publie graduellement comme cela, j’aurai donc l’occasion de déblatérer un peu à chaque fois, ou tout simplement mettre l’image, on dit que l’image vaut 1000 mots, peut-être pas mais elle laissera dans le cas de celle ci une impression floue, il se peut qu’un modèle apparaisse éventuellement….
Another computer or digital sketch, in fact it is a bit old, started in 2021, and forgotten in the files of my computer….maybe I should start publishing them as soon they are done, usually while sketching I do save them at a short interval, in the early stage they do change rapidly, maybe 15 minutes or so…Warhol was talking about everybody deserving his 15 minutes of fame, I will apply this to my intermediate sketches….15 more or less so minutes, and would be a good pretext to write something, or not just putting them on line while they are hot…or made…without writing much or nothing, after all, we do say that a picture is worth 1000 words, but in this case at the beginning, it is a bit ‘foggy’….but there will probably be a model emerging through this, I am pretty sure…
Spoiler alert…I did save today one that is numbered 8 th…so more to come and I am still far from the finish, so yes more to come / Alerte de divulgation…aujourd’hui j’ai sauvegardé une image, numéroté 8…donc d’autres sont à venir, et l’esquisse est loin d’être terminée…
Je sors de ma retraite, un peu involontaire, en fait je devrais plutôt dire que je sors de mon éclipse… faut croire que le goût de dessiner et peindre est encore là après tout, même si dois le chercher assez longuement, en tout cas, hier j’ai dépoussiéré ma tablette et je me suis remis à dessiner, la chatte n’est pas d’accord…elle devra partager le temps que je lui accordais jusqu’à date…désolé Maya et tes miaulements fréquents n’y feront rien, du moins ce soir….elle réalise qu’un nouvel ennemi arrive, elle partageait déjà malgré elle le temps de son esclave humain avec cette saloperie de casque de réalité virtuelle, non mais espèce d’humain bizarre pense tu que tu courses réellement en F1, en rally ou que tu pilotes vraiment un Spitfire dans le ciel de la Normandie en 44…? Bon malgré tout elle accepte son sort, après on verra, mais comme d’habitude ce matin j’ai répondu à ses fréquents appels pour sa bouffe, bien trop de bonne heure quant à moi….
I am getting out of my retreat, or more precisely my eclipse, was on the dark side not of the moon, but of the state of mind where you’re telling yourself, I don’t feel anymore for drawing and painting, probably not quite finished yet…at least for tonight and this morning taking time to write about this, Maya, my cat is a bit upset, she knows that she will have to share my interest and time spent on her with another foe, there was already those vr racing and flying simulations, now this thing that my human slave call art…..grrrr grrrrr, ouf at least this morning, a bit early mind you, he did answer my way too frequent and wait for a much too long time to get out of bed and feed me….finally….
Bon maintenant le résultat de mon ‘retour’ d’hier soir, repris une esquisse, rien comme la tablette pour essayer de retrouver la ‘touche’…assez content du résultat… Now the results of my first attempt at coming back, a sketch using my tablet, a good tool to try to shake of the dust of my drawing skills, to find out if it is still there…I think it is a yes…

Des mises à jour des pages porte folio, enfin 2 sur l’ensemble, en y incorporant quelques oeuvres faite entre 2001 et 2002, présentées individuellement, cette fois ci c’est le porte folio qui demande un peu peu d’attention…mais à mon rythme…donc plus ou moins lent selon les jours et semaines..:)

Éventuellement il y a un vidéo plus complet et mieux fait, en attendant un extrait préliminaire / Eventually there will be a more decent video made, for now here a first try..
En fait, afin de respecter la chronologie et l’histoire de l’art…enfin l’histoire bien personnelle du mien, retracée par moi-même, je suis mieux de le faire moi-même, je doute que quelque historien de l’art, ne prenne le temps de le faire pour moi..:) Donc ce pastel terminé le 31-12-2002, je présume que je voulais terminer l’année sur une bonne note, est fait d’après la même photo présentée hier et que j’avais commencé à reprendre en esquisse digitale….lorsque j’aurai terminé l’esquisse, il ne manquera que le tableau à l’huile, à l’aquarelle, gouache ou autre medium…en attendant ce pastel, qui date un peu mais que j’aime bien….tout comme la photo je présume, si je pense en faire aussi un tableau ou autre sketch, oui votre honneur, j’admet ma culpabilité complète….je me reconnais tout-à-fait coupable…:)
Actually, I should mention, to be correct in the timeline, I am better to play the role of Art Historian here, my own personal art history, I doubt that any futur art historian will take the time to do it, better self by myself I guess, so this pastel was completed on December 31 st, 2002, I guess I did want to finish the year with panache…before starting celebrating a new year, so a pastel done from the same photograph presented yesterday, and object of a new digital sketch, still unfinished, some day after it will be completed, only an oil painting would be missing to complete a full collection from it, maybe too a watercolor, or some gouache or any other medium I can think of, so in the meantime this old pastel, which I do like very much, and I guess I like the pic too if I do keep drawing, eventually painting it….I am pleading fully guilty…:)
Oui du ménage, mais plus dans le sens de mettre de l’ordre dans mes répertoires, surtout ceux contenant les images de mes esquisses digitales, sur lesquelles j’ai recommencé à travailler, du moins un peu et que je voudrais bien mener à terme, donc une que j’ai peut-être déjà présentée et que je compte retravailler bientôt, une esquisse d’après photo d’une de mes top modèles favorites, voilà un certain temps de cela, Lonneke Engel, donc l’esquisse et la photo de Lonneke.
Some cleaning, but more in the sense of putting some order in my files and folders, especially in those digital sketches, into which I am coming back, many were undertaken, few if none really finished, so I am sorting them and one that I will rework soon is this one, made from copying a photo of then top model, around year 2000…Lonneke Engel, one of my favorite….so this sketch and the pic that serve as model for the sketch…
