Voilà des années, une pub montrait un homme d’âge pré mûr…enfin pas vieux mais commençant à grisonner, qui utisant un shampoo qui colorait les cheveux, moi avec cette esquisse, j’applique un calque qui ajoute du gris au noir…processus inversé…
A few years ago, a tv pub was showing a man, trying to hide some gray hairs but leaving some gray, more or less, to look a bit more natural, so with this sketch I do the inversed process, adding more gray to the black…so another of those so called alternate version…

Pas sûr que je porterais ce chandail, du moins dans mon cas, mais cela m’amènera sûrement à essayer d’autres types d’esquisses et à expérimenter avec diverses formes, cela pourrait présenter un certain intérêt, enfin à voir, parmi toutes ces choses dont je me dis que je dois voir si je peux faire quelque chose…un peu éparpillé ma production ces jours-ci….:)
Not sure if I would myself wear one of those, not sure it would fit ‘my style’…but this may bring me to explore some avenues with this, maybe using different sketches styles, will have to look into that, like in all those little projects lying out there and waiting for me to come along and work on them, maybe I am a bit too much spread aprt these days…seems my work goes nowhere…:D
En fait une version tirant plus vers le noir, ‘come to the dark side of the force’ enfin rien de si dramatique…plus un autre exercice de calques et d’art digital…
Really more of a darker version, come to the dark side of the Force would have said Darth Vader….but nothing so dramatic here, more like an exploration of layers, dark on color in some digital art…
Comme l’hiver se manifeste encore ces jours-ci, pourquoi ne pas afficher la 2e version d’une esquisse travaillée le 13 mars dernier, pas beaucoup de différence par rapport à la version précédente, mais un peu tout de même…
Since winter is still hanging around here in Montreal, may as well post this wintery model sketch, this is March 13 th version, the second one, not much changes but still a few things hopefully improved from the previous one….
Je ne sais plus trop quand ou pourquoi j’ai fait cette version, à partir d’une esquisse que j’avais déjà faite, et même je l’avais modifié du blanc au rose, là sans trop savoir pourquoi, je me suis retrouvé avec cette version, peut-être que je me sentais comme une pâle imitation d’Andy Warhol…ou tout simplement j’étais distrait et je me suis dit aussi bien en faire une nouvelle version, enfin plus copie que nouvelle, sauf pour l’orangé….
I don’t quite remember why I did this other version of an already copied version of this sketch, must be something I do like about it, but not sure why I did this other version, maybe I was planning something different but as it is now, it is more another copy than a different sketch, except that now it went from white to rose and now orange…some kind of a lame imitation of reknown pop artist Andy Warhol or simply a bit too distracted…

Eh oui, même une île volcanique, situé entre l’Australie et l’Antarctique est aussi soumise aux tarifs douaniers américains, les pingouins y vivant ont formé une assocation MAGA (MAKE ANTARCTICA GLACIER AGAIN), ils sont australiens, donc ils utilisent l’anglais, un genre de pingin, au Canada, il y a aussi les lièvres géants de l’Arctique canadien qui ont été taxés…un peu de photoshop ici…:)

Eh oui, apparemment nos amis ricains, enfin selon les Tr…pisses, sont sous le joug des pays du monde entier, enfin ceux avec qui ils commercent depuis des décennies…je n’ai même plus la force d’essayer de comprendre la ‘logique’ derrière les manigances de cette administration ennemie du monde libre…je présume que si on était en 1938, l’Allemagne hitlérienne aurait peut-être été considérée comme un pays ami et gentil envers les USA, digne de confiance….je l’admets, c’est probablement exagéré comme supposition mais avec lui, on ne peut plus le savoir, mais pas bien plus exagéré que d’utiliser les mots jour de la Libération, qui pour la plupart du monde, un tant soit peu au courant de l’histoire, sait que ces termes réfèrent à une autre libération…..donc en attendant le jour L, une petite esquisse, sans prétention et disponible partout sans tarif…
Yes according to Him and his followers, not worthed of mention, their country is under the joug of all of their commercial allies, seems we are economic tyrans profiting from his country, so tomorrow will be their alledged Liberation Day, a bit strong as an expression don’t you think…? I cannot even try to understand the logic of this new Free World leader, freeing his country from the tyranny of Canada, Mexico, Western Europe and most of the World…I suppose if we were in 1938, Nazi Germany would have been considered a good country, fair and gentile country….ok this is quite an exageration, but not much more than using the term Liberation Day, which refer I think to another true Liberation Day….but this administration do not care about history it seems, and many other things I should say…so while waiting for the L Day, here is a reworked sketch, available, no reciproqual tarification….

La plupart de mes esquisses ont des calques, jusqu’à date cependant au niveau de la sauvegarde, j’ai toujours utilisé l’exportation en format jpg, c’est bien pour mes sites et boutiques quant aux impressions ou format image, quoique pas eu beaucoup de ventes, en fait sauf pour un projet particulier concernant des amis, je n’ai rien vendu…peut-être pas le bon canal de diffusion ou tout simplement il me faudra être patient. Le format jpg est moins bien adapté à d’autres types d’objets comme des chandails ou autres objets, dans ces cas ci la transparence est un atout je crois, j’ai donc fait quelques expérimentations en utilisant le format png afin d’utiliser la transparence, utile si je veux avoir mes choses sur des objets, comme des vêtements, tasses, ou autres objets, voici deux exemples
Most of my sketches, if not all, previous to the last few days, were exported in jpg format, blending all the layers that usually compose any of my sketches, it is good if you want to buy a print on canvas or other support on my artshops, so far sales have been few and for a very specific occasion involving friends, so I did decide to try experimenting with the png format, in order to be able to add the effect of transparency to some of my sketches, does not change much for prints, except that I can change the background color, but it is more interesting when applied to objects, like garnments as T-shirts of different styles for exemple, cups, or other domestic objects, here is an exemple on 2 T-shirts
Probablement que l’effet pourrait être plus intéressant avec des oeuvres plus ‘minimalistes’ ou avec quelques lignes,silhouettes ou avec certaines de mes esquisses qui ont des sujets autres que mes modèles de mode, enfin je vais sûrement continuer à explorer ceci, évidemment ces sites ne permettent généralement pas à des artistes de tirer des revenus importants, enfin selon mon humble impression, mais cela présente tout un même un intérêt et un médium qui pourrait être intéressant à développer, à suivre comme on dit….
Probably this could work very well on more sketchy works, more minimalist or more like models under shapes of silhouettes with some dashes or colors and lines, or some subjects, I do have a few sketches not showing fashion models but other subjects, anyhow I am not expecting and not doing it thinking, god I will get so rich…at least not in term of $$$ but maybe this can prove to be a nice way to show my works in a less conventionnal way…I guess I will have to explore these much more and see what can come out of these, as we say, will see…
