Pas tout-à-fait une version rose intégrale, un mélange de la version précédente qui avait le noir comme teinte dominante et maintenant une version en demi teinte ou demi rosée…
Not quite a pink serie integraly, the black tint of the previous version is still quite visible, but the pink is showing all through her clothes…a demi rosée….
La version série rose de cette esquisse, la version dite ‘standard’ devrait être publiée dans les prochains jours….
The pink serie version of this sketch, as for the so called normal version, it should be published within the next few days…
L’effet est intéressant, mais comme cela arrive parfois, je ne suis pas tout-à-fait satisfait du résultat, en plus le visage de Marylin est vraiment pas à point…donc oui il y aura une autre version des deux, la version rose et la version qui essaie tant bien que mal de reproduire ou du moins de s’inspirer des modèles…:)
I think the pink effect is kind of interesting, welll that the sort of thing we say I guess rather than saying, it does need some fixes or more work, I am not that good in portrait, usually I do after much work getting something closer, but poor Marylin face do need more work…so I am sure of that, there will be more versions, of both, the pink and more or less realistic one, if I can get closer to the look of my models on this one…:)

Encore une fois, j’avais une version qui date de voilà quelques semaines, une version plus inspirée de la photo, la voici, et en prime, la version rose, faite en utilisant des calques existants, copiés, en en créant d’autres pour permettre des ajouts ou sélectionner des parties de l’esquisse, donc double ration de Liz…je ne me lasse jamais de la dessiner, comme certaines autres…
Another double feature…I had this version of LIz Hurley, it is more in the color scheme of the reference photo, black dress, boots and coat, but today I use some of the existing layer, create a few ones and made this pink version, to add to the serie…so yes Liz, a 2 for 1 presentation…
Hum, non pour la première, je ne l’afficherait pas dans la ‘série rose’, malgré une petite touche de couleurqui fait presque partie de la famille des teintes rosées, mais définitivement plus violet; par contre l’autre avec le fond tirant du violet au rosé, le pourrait…si on force un peu la note..:) enfin pas grave, ce sont deux esquisses qui attendaient d’être publiées, ce qui est fait maintenant…et qu’elles appartiennent à la série rose n’importe vraiment peu finalement, le moment de les publier était arrivé depuis longtemps…
The first, or earliest, more of a grayscale affair with some touches of color, some being close but nor really pinky would probably not, as for the second, no pink on the model but the background, with a color that would approach pink, albeit a bit on the violet side, may qualify if the judge is not too hard, and since I am that judge, I say that it does belong to the serie, which does not really matter…it is more that these two sketches were in line for a few weeks now, waiting for me to publish them, and this is done…so there they are, belonging or not…:)
Encore un peu dans le style des précédentes depuis une semaine, par contre je ne parvenais pas à décider des couleurs, rose, ou laisser l’original, finalement presque un style camouflage ou enfin des vêtements texturés, pas vraiment du camouflage, des buissons rose et blanc entrelacé de noir, plutôt rare..enfin on verra, pour le moment pas sûr que cela restera comme cela…:)
Still in the pink mood, the one I have for the last week or so, except for this one, could not decide if the garment were to be all pink, white or black…finally a mix of all of them, almost camouflage style, but pink, white and black are not colors or tint we find in natural environment..so a different style, not sure if this will stay along that style or move to something else, I guess will have to wait and see the next version…
Oui, on peut dire qu’elle fait partie de la série, quoique celle-ci a demandé plus de modifications et d’édition, elle est encore en évolution, comme toutes les autres d’ailleurs mais celle-ci a peut-être un peu plus l’air d’une esquisse en développement. Enfin peu importe réellement, c’est une version qui est probablement appelée à être retravaillée dans un avenir plus ou moins rapproché…selon mon horaire qui est bien indéterminé…
Yes, even if it did required a bit more work than the others, it does belong to the Pink Serie, but this one has maybe a bit more the look of one sketch in development, did quite a lot of edition on this one and it is still to be developped, when will be the follow up, hum that it is something that is a bit unpredictable, like my schedule or the process of choosing on which sketche I do feel like working, so in other words, we have to wait and see…somewhere down the line there will be another version, that may look quite different…or not…
Un sketch qui était peu avancé, d’après une photo de Kate Moss, trouvée quelque part sur le net…en noir et blanc, donc interprétation bien libre de la couleur, puisque j’étais comme déjà écrit bien peu avancé, je lui ai donné des teintes de roses, afin qu’elle s’intègre ou joigne la parade de mode en rose, commencée voilà quelques jours, je ne promets rien, il se peut que demain il y ait autre chose ou thème, mais celui-ci reviendra tôt ou tard…
This sketch was not at an advance state, and it is from a black and white pic of model Kate Moss, so a free drawing or digital painting of it, and since the color scheme was not decided, I went for a pinkish interpretation, so to join the parade started a few days ago, I am not promising anything, don’t expect a non stop serie, but you can expected a few others, few is still to be decided in number, but maybe not, probably not daily, but expect more of them from now on for a few days or weeks…
Et la photo référence de Kate, cela remonte un peu dans le temps, la période où elle était au début de sa carrière… / And the photo from top model Kate Moss, it is probably quite old, getting back to probably her model career debut…
Oui j’ai tendance à travailler longuement et parfois un peu comme dans la légende travailler longuement et recommencer, j’espère toutefois non inutilement…alors non seulement je termine difficilement mes tableaux et esquisses, voilà que pour celle-ci, j’ai sorti une esquisse que je disais terminée et j’en fait une nouvelle version….je vais plutôt interpréter que c’est une nouvelle esquisse, au fond cela n’a pas vraiment d’importance. Donc cette esquisse maintenant dans des teintes de roses, violets et quelques autres taches de couleur, oui je peux dire qu’elle est une suite des deux journées précédentes…la série rose…et surtout je me plais bien dans ces travaux sisyphéens..après tout c’est ce qui compte.
Yes I have an habit of working endlessly my painting and sketches, a bit like in the legend and poor Sisyphe and never ending task, and on top of that, I did start working from a finished one, like the rock finally on the mountain top and rolling down, hopefully starting from one of those rare ‘finished’ works will turn out in something different than doing the same thing again and again, so this new version, which I do consider a new one, but that is besides the point, who cares really, is in full pink mode, with violet hues…so yes I consider it to the third of this serie, joining the two previous works done over the last days…and starting again and trying to get something different out of it is actually quite fun for me, that being the important thing to remember.
